About this BLOG

This blog is intended to be a general discussion area for packaging machinery users, builders, agents, re-conditioners and anyone interested in packaging machinery and its use. It makes no gaurantees of its accuracy nor does it attempt or need to make any excuses for any of its contents - it is a mixture of the personnel opinions of individuals, reprints or exerts of articles found on the 'world-wide-web'. Within the practical limits of minimal editorial control only minimal effort is made to honour the copyright and ownership of any material used. It is assumed that articles and information made available on the web are available for general public use in accordance with the 'fair use doctrine' and in accordance with common practice, unless clearly stated otherwise.

This blog was initiated and is generally updated by Robert O'Burn. Robert has been an insider in the packaging machinery business for almost thirty years. Originally a scientist with a degree in Physics he has spent most of his working life in engineering design and development and has provided detailed design and consultancy services to many European packaging machinery manufactures.
